At the 2020 Asia Biotechnology Exhibition, InnoSpectra announced the "Smart Drug Quick Screening Platform". The quick screening platform was established by InnoSpectra self-developed miniature near-infrared spectrometer and a drug model database, which can quickly identify counterfeit drugs, effectively reduce the possibility of counterfeit drugs causing harm to life.

According to statistics from the WHO more than 30% of counterfeit drugs on the market do not contain any active ingredients, but often contain toxic compounds, which are likely to cause adverse health effects.

The Smart Drug Quick Screening Platform uses a self-developed miniature near-infrared spectrometer to scan the spectrum of drug components and compare with the drug model database, allowing users to confirm the authenticity of drugs within 5 seconds and avoid being invaded by inferior and counterfeit drugs.
